As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

The Role

We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our new business initiatives and expand our client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in winning new business contracts within the digital agency or e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within the e-commerce and digital transformation sectors
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Create and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets
  • Collaborate with leadership team to align business development activities with company goals
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
  • Represent Glaze Digital at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Maintain detailed records of all business development activities and pipeline in CRM
  • Provide regular reports on sales progress and business development metrics
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth handover of new clients

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record of winning new business contracts in a B2B environment
  • Experience in digital agency, e-commerce, or tech sector sales
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape and Shopify ecosystem
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding relationship building and networking abilities
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
