June’s here, and with it comes a fresh batch of Shopify updates worth knowing about. From new ways to take payments to handy tools that make managing your store that bit easier, there’s plenty to dig into this month.
Whether you’re growing your brand or just looking to tidy up your storefront, we’ve got you covered.
So, let’s get into it:
Shopify Now Accepts Crypto
Big news for those keen to offer more flexible payment options – Shopify is rolling out support for USDC on the Base network through Shopify Payments in select regions. That means your customers can now pay with USDC, a digital version of the US dollar, using hundreds of crypto wallets.
Don’t worry – payouts still land in your regular currency by default, with no exchange rate surprises or multi-currency fees.
Alternatively, merchants can claim USDC by connecting any crypto wallet that supports the Base network.
Ability to Duplicate Menus
Shopify has (at long last!) added the ability to duplicate menus straight from your admin. Just pop into any menu detail page, hit “duplicate”, and you’ll get a perfect copy – all your links, layouts, and structure intact.
We’ve already used this for things like:
- Switching between seasonal menus (summer vs winter)
- Testing layout changes without losing the original
- Creating special menus for campaigns or landing pages
- Quickly adapting desktop menus for mobile
No more rebuilding everything from scratch – it’s simple, fast, and an absolute gem for anyone managing multiple navigation styles.
Markets Now Link to Accounts in Local Region
Another smart improvement — Shopify now remembers your customer’s market (country, language, or region) when they browse your store and head to their account.
Before this, it always defaulted to your store’s main settings, which could get confusing for international shoppers. Now, the experience feels much more seamless. If someone’s browsing in French for your Canadian store, they’ll stay in that context even when they check their order or head back to the shop.
New Site Launch: Seed & Sprout
We’re thrilled to announce the successful launch of the redesigned seedsprout.com.au Shopify store! Our team built this eco-friendly marketplace from the ground up with custom functionality that elevates both the shopping experience and business operations.

The new site features meticulously crafted landing pages that showcase Seed & Sprout’s sustainable product lines while being fully optimised for search engines. Each collection page was strategically developed with relevant keywords, compelling product descriptions, and semantic markup to increase organic visibility and drive targeted traffic.
We implemented an intuitive built-in upsell system that intelligently recommends complementary products based on shopping behaviour, significantly increasing average order value. The custom pre-order functionality allows customers to reserve high-demand items before they’re in stock, creating a new revenue stream and providing valuable inventory forecasting data.

The mobile-optimised design ensures a seamless shopping experience across all devices, with particular attention paid to checkout flow optimisation that has already reduced cart abandonment rates. Performance metrics show impressive improvements with page load speeds 40% faster than the previous site.
Early results are exceeding expectations with conversion rates up 22% and organic traffic showing steady growth week over week. We’re proud to have delivered a solution that not only looks beautiful but drives meaningful business results for this planet-conscious brand.

That’s all for June! If you’ve any questions about the updates or fancy a chat about your own Shopify store, just give us a shout.
