A Bit of Housekeeping
If you’ve been searching for your Blogs or Menu sections, you might be wondering where they’ve disappeared to. Not to worry – Shopify has recently undertaken some reorganisation of the admin interface, and these features can now be found under the Content section. We understand that quite a few users were initially puzzled when they couldn’t locate these elements in their usual spots, so we wanted to make sure you’re aware of their new home in the Content area.
Improved Order Editing
Shopify has improved the user experience for order editing. The design now matches other admin pages like Drafts and Order Details, making it easier to modify quantities and discounts. These changes create a more streamlined order editing process.
Sign in with Shop
Customers visiting your online store will now have the opportunity to sign in via the customer account login page through Shop Pay integration. This enhancement to the login process provides a more streamlined experience for your customers, enabling them to access their accounts more efficiently. The update not only improves the overall shopping journey but also significantly reduces the time taken to complete the checkout process, making it a more pleasant experience for your valued customers.
Shopify Taxes & Duties
On Feb 2 2025, Shopify enabled merchants on all Shopify plans to access Shopify duties and import taxes calculations, a feature previously requiring merchants to be on the Advanced Shopify or Shopify Plus plans. Though this feature is very good it may not be necessary for all businesses, it is worth checking this to see if you need as currently they charge an additional 0.5% for all orders when this is off, please check in Settings – Taxes & Duties to see if you need this.
App of the Month
ZigZag
