Castle Lighting are a lighting retailer with a successful in store presence. They have a selection of the most well known lighting & interior brands.

Our Brief

The brand have a customer base who are shopping more and more online so they asked us to help with their online marketing to increase sales. The lighting industry is very competitive as there are a lot of companies selling similar brands making the market very competitive so we had to take this into consideration.

What We Did

As there is a large search demand from potential customers for brands and products that the business sells we focused on Paid Media & Google Ads. This enabled us to show the products that the store has to customers when they were searching for a particular product. We used a custom strategy bid higher for branded search terms that were likely to convert and lower for broad search terms that we felt had less intent. We also worked closely with the team to make sure the products that we were focusing on were price competitive in the market as we know the customers are very price sensetitive.

Results

From Google Ads we have been able to generate a. ROAS (Return On Ad Spend) of over 1,000% on average and this lead to an increase in revenue of 505% YOY. This is a very high level in a competitive market and has enabled the business to build a profitable online presence.
