JOBE’s extensive product range includes everything from wakeboards and kneeboards to stand-up paddleboards, wetsuits, and life jackets, catering to a diverse audience of watersports lovers.

The goal with their website was to improve usability, streamline the shopping process, and create an online presence that truly reflects the brand’s legacy of excellence and forward-thinking design.

Strategy

The goal was to enhance the existing high-quality content by optimising and organising the website for a more polished and dynamic look. A focus on video and movement was essential to engage visitors, while also ensuring that comprehensive information was readily available. The design aimed for smooth, intuitive navigation, rich with dynamic imagery and frequent photo changes to create a visually stimulating experience.

What We Did

We revamped the site by creating category pages with dynamic, scroll-over image changes, including a mega menu with similar effects. Advanced product pages featured high quality imagery, detailed product information, clear call-to-action buttons, and a cross-sell section titled “Complete It”, featuring useful complementary products. Custom blocks for extra info were added, along with extensive use of metadata and metafields, allowing the client to update content dynamically. Multiple product templates were also created for easy additions and flexibility.

Results

After we revamped Jobe Sports AU’s website, their total sales jumped by 64%. They also saw a 36% boost in store visits and a 30% increase in orders. On top of that, the average order value went up by 25%, thanks to the smoother shopping experience and added features like the “Complete It” section.
