Overview
The Skin Lab was already a successful clinic, with many happy customers, but the team here approached us for help in improving the online side of their business, including boosting product sales and streamlining appointment scheduling.
Strategy
Firstly, we carried out a website review to understand how to better optimise their online store. Once this was complete, we were able to then create a multi-step marketing strategy. This began with targeted advertising with Google Ads for customers searching for relevant products and treatments, and then nurturing these same customers using Klaviyo and Meta Ads, so that we could maximise customer lifetime value.
What We Did
In order to see our intended improvements, we utilised Google Shopping Ads to promote in-demand products that were available for sale, and used Paid Search text ads to highlight priority treatments at strategic times of the year. To reach more potential treatment customers and grow The Skin Lab’s email marketing sign ups, we used Meta Ads for precise geo-targeting, and then we used Klaviyo to cross-sell relevant products and treatments to existing customers while announcing exclusive seasonal promotions to drive engagement and customer loyalty.

Results
After these improvements, we reviewed our objectives and found a range of positive results brought about directly from the work we did with The Skin Lab. For instance, revenue grew by 174%, while the average order value jumped by 68%. 53% of this revenue was generated from our email marketing with Klaviyo. Advertising was also more effective, with Meta Ad ROAS up by 266%.
